Nurturing Fathers

 

 

 

 

 

A  “FATHERS ONLY”   program designed to help fathers let go of fathering practices that don’t work, adopting new practices that increase their self-concept, and working toward more nurturing, rewarding relationships with children and partners.

Unique role of fathers Fathering Daughters/ Fathering Sons
Positive Reinforcement Stress and anger management
Characteristics of an involved father Communication / Conflict resolution
Parenting Styles Time, work, and fathering
Discipline / Limits

REFERRALS:
One can become involved by referring yourself or by referral from a community agency, Public Health, or the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Referral can be mailed, faxed or phoned in to our office.

LENGTH OF PROGRAM:      12 weeks

PROGRAM  DAY:   One evening a week from 6:30pm – 9:00pm
